Misty Meade is the chief operating officer at Meade Law Group. As COO, Misty is responsible for the firm's administrative functions, daily operations, and oversees client case management. She works with MLG’s entire legal team to ensure both quality and integrity of work in addition to the implementation of a strategic and profitable business plan. Misty balances a breadth of experience and knowledge with an ability to manage strategically while also understanding the details of the day-to-day execution of operating a business to ensure what needs to happen does indeed happen.
Misty has been with the firm intermittently since 1998, beginning her career with MLG in high school as a paralegal assistant. She was a high school graduate of University School located in Johnson City, TN. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University in 2004. She was then admitted into the “Advanced Standing” program at The University of Tennessee where she received a Master’s in Science Degree of Social Work in 2005. Following her completion of graduate school, Misty held a variety of positions including an in-home family counselor for at-risk youth, domestic violence therapist, and medical social worker navigating within several hospital systems. Misty enjoys creative problem solving where she can implement her expertise in logistics and her ability to “think outside of the box”. She has utilized her social work background at MLG to ensure clients are met with empathy, compassion, and community case management when needed.
Misty is married to the firm founder and principal attorney, Mac Meade. They share two children together, Madeline and Miles. In Misty’s free time, she enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and live music.
